Birley Carr
Dramatic Society had a very successful 'HMS Pinafore' in March
15th
2008 that played to several 'full houses'. The play selected
for presentation from 16-18th October 2008 is 'Lord Arthur Savile's Crime', a
comedy based upon a short story by Oscar Wilde. The
society will present 'Iolanthe' in March 2009 and rehearsals will begin following
presentation of the play.
Grenoside Players
will present 'Double Cut' a thriller by Alfred Shaughnessy from
20-22nd November
2008 in the
Community Centre, Grenoside. The play is a very skillfully crafted drama
with an unpredictable ending that will
surprise audiences.
